Join us as we uncover insights into their MSP journey and the impact of JumpCloud&#8217;s solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About Bill<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill is a life-long technology user who has had a 30-year career as an IT professional. He has spent almost equal time in private and public sector roles as a networking and integration specialist and manager. Currently, he is a Senior Systems Consultant with CVM, Inc. in Branford, Connecticut. They are a consultancy focused primarily on systems infrastructure projects for small and medium enterprises. Bill has certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Citrix, and now, JumpCloud technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"image is-16by9\">\n<iframe class=\"has-ratio\" width=\"300\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5yRPBhXvDBQ?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Here are my 5 key takeaways:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It began with an Active Directory Frustration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Their JumpCloud journey began in the face of a client&#8217;s struggle with Active Directory. This client&#8217;s mounting frustrations triggered a search by CVM for innovative solutions, ultimately leading them to discover JumpCloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The onset of the pandemic proved to be a catalyst for CVM. It rapidly highlighted the changing landscape of device and user management as employees transitioned from the office to remote working. The urgency to adapt and evolve their practices was brought into sharp focus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MFA was a starting point on the JumpCloud journey<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For roughly seven months, CVM has been leveraging JumpCloud and has witnessed significant product evolution during this period. Their initial strategy aimed to maximize all of JumpCloud&#8217;s features; however, the early deployments primarily focused on Identity and Access Management, aiming to quickly implement Multi-Factor Authentication across their sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though the JumpCloud Password Manager wasn&#8217;t part of CVM&#8217;s initial roadmap, it&#8217;s already in use at their client sites. Their ambitious goal is to have every feature of JumpCloud deployed at least to some extent within their first year as a partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Product Roadmaps are a must watch<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill unfailingly keeps up with the product roadmap videos. Given the rapid pace of development at JumpCloud, these videos have become an indispensable resource for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Go through JumpCloud University<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Bill says he highly recommends that all new partners immerse themselves in the offerings of JumpCloud University. This platform provides an exceptional range of courses, instrumental in fostering a comprehensive understanding of JumpCloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JumpCloud presents real value opportunities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>CVM faced significant challenges with remote access to certain devices. However, JumpCloud offered an out-of-the-box solution to this issue. In addition, it provided built-in inventory control and a password manager and many additional features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Understanding your clients&#8217; pain points and utilizing JumpCloud to resolve them can make a world of difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thanks to Bill for taking the time to chat.
