VaultOne: Monitor Credential Activity

VaultOne records all user interactions with credentials on the VaultOne platform. These actions are logged and can be viewed in the Audit Log, providing visibility into who created, accessed, edited, or deleted any credential.

Below are the most common actions and how to identify them.

Credential Actions and Audit Log Entries

1. Who Created a Credential

Filter by Action:

2. Who Edited a Credential

Path:

3. Who Viewed a Credential (Secret)

4. Who Viewed the Credential History

Use the Magnifying Glass Icon
Clicking the magnifying glass icon next to any audit entry opens the access log details showing:

  • Timestamp of the action
  • User who performed it
  • Target credential
  • IP address
  • and more
