SaaS Management: Zoho CRM Connector

JumpCloud® SaaS Management gives you visibility and control over shadow IT and SaaS app use within your org. Connectors detect shadow IT without adoption of a browser extension and provide a significant increase to the valuable usage and security insights.

The Zoho CRM Connector retrieves the user list from the Zoho CRM API. Using periodic polling for regular updates, it captures new users and new application associates to keep data accurate and up-to-date.

Zoho CRM User: Provides an up-to-date list of Zoho CRM users.

Prerequisites:

  • You need a Zoho CRM account with admin access.

Considerations:

  • Based on your organization’s size, the initial collection of data may take some time, up to an hour.

Configuring Zoho CRM

  1. Log in to your Zoho CRM account.
  2. Go to Setup > Company Settings and copy and save your Org ID.
  3. Sign in to the Zoho Developer Console.
  4. If a Self Client application does not exist, click CREATE NOW and choose the Self Client type.
  5. Go to the Client Secret tab.
  6. Copy your Client ID and Client Secret.

Important:

For security reasons, you'll only see the Client ID and Client Secret once. Save it in a secure location before closing the window.

Configuring JumpCloud

  1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal.
  2. Go to SECURITY MANAGEMENT > SaaS Management > Settings.
  3. Under SaaS Management Settings, click the Connectors tab, then click + Add Connector.
  1. Click the Zoho CRM connector.
  2. Enter the following information:
    • The Connector name.
    • The Client ID and Client Secret copied from Zoho Developer Console.
    • For the SOID field, enter the Org ID copied earlier from Zoho CRM.
    • Enter your Zoho CRM deployment region.
  3. Click Connect and then Save Connector. You will now see Zoho CRM in your list of Connectors.

Note:

If permissions are accidentally removed, or if the admin who configured left your organization, the connector will stop working and you will be prompted to Reconnect.

Required Permissions

Uninstall/Remove

  • On the Connector’s detail page, click on Delete Connector and follow the prompts.
