JumpCloud® SaaS Management gives you visibility and control over shadow IT and SaaS app use within your org. Connectors detect shadow IT without adoption of a browser extension and provide a significant increase to the valuable usage and security insights.
The Tines Connector retrieves the user list from the Tines API. Using periodic polling for regular updates, it captures new users and new application associates to keep data accurate and up-to-date.
Tines User: Provides an up-to-date list of Tines users.
Prerequisites:
- You need a Tines account with admin access.
Considerations:
- Based on your organization’s size, the initial collection of data may take some time, up to an hour.
Configuring Tines
- Log in to your Tines account.
- Click the profile icon, then click API Keys.
- Go to the Tenant tab to choose the owner type and click + Create new.
- Enter a Name and Description for your API key and click Save.
- Copy and save the New token secret. You'll need this to complete the JumpCloud configuration.
For security reasons, you'll only see the Token Secret once. Save it in a secure location before closing the window.

If permissions are accidentally removed, or if the admin who configured left your organization, the connector will stop working and you will be prompted to Reconnect.
