SaaS Management: SumoLogic Connector

JumpCloud® SaaS Management gives you visibility and control over shadow IT and SaaS app use within your org. Connectors detect shadow IT without adoption of a browser extension and provide a significant increase to the valuable usage and security insights.

The SumoLogic Connector retrieves the user list from the SumoLogic API. Using periodic polling for regular updates, it captures new users and new application associates to keep data accurate and up-to-date.

SumoLogic User: Provides an up-to-date list of SumoLogic users.

Prerequisites

  • You must be a SumoLogic admin with API access.

Considerations

  • Based on your organization’s size, the initial collection of data may take some time, up to an hour.

Configuring SumoLogic

  1. Log in to SumoLogic.
  2. Click the ‘Admin’ icon on the left panel.
  3. Go to Security > Access Keys and click Add Access Keys.
  4. Enter a name for the access key and click Save.
  5. Copy and save the Access ID and Access Key. You'll need this to complete the JumpCloud configuration.

Important:

For security reasons, you'll only see the API token once. Save it in a secure location before closing the window.
