SaaS Management: OneLogin Connector

JumpCloud® SaaS Management gives you visibility and control over shadow IT and SaaS app use within your org. Connectors detect shadow IT without adoption of a browser extension and provide a significant increase to the valuable usage and security insights.

The OneLogin Connector retrieves the user list from the OneLogin API. Using periodic polling for regular updates, it captures new users and new application associates to keep data accurate and up-to-date.

OneLogin User: Provides an up-to-date list of OneLogin users.

Prerequisites:

  • You need a OneLogin account with admin access.

Considerations:

  • Based on your organization’s size, the initial collection of data may take some time, up to an hour.

Configuring OneLogin

  1. Log in to your OneLogin account.
  2. Copy and save the URL from your browser's address bar. This parameter is called OneLogin subdomain.
  3. From the upper menu, go to Developers > API Credentials, and click New Credential.
  4. Enter a Name for your credentials, select Read Users, and click SAVE.
  5. Copy and save the Client ID and Client Secret. You'll need this to complete the JumpCloud configuration.

Important:

For security reasons, you'll only see the Client ID and Client Secret once. Save it in a secure location before closing the window.

Configuring JumpCloud

  1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal.
  2. Go to SECURITY MANAGEMENT > SaaS Management > Settings.
  3. Under SaaS Management Settings, click the Connectors tab, then click + Add Connector.
  1. Click the OneLogin connector.
  2. Enter the following information:
    • The Connector name.
    • The Client ID and Client Secret copied from OneLogin.
    • Enter OneLogin subdomain copied earlier to the Domain field.
  3. Click Connect and then Save Connector. You will now see OneLogin in your list of Connectors.

Note:

If permissions are accidentally removed, or if the admin who configured left your organization, the connector will stop working and you will be prompted to Reconnect.

  • To revoke the permissions granted to JumpCloud, delete the Client ID and Client Secret you created in your OneLogin account.
