SaaS Management: ActiveCampaign Connector

JumpCloud® SaaS Management gives you visibility and control over shadow IT and SaaS app use within your org. Connectors detect shadow IT without adoption of a browser extension and provide a significant increase to the valuable usage and security insights.

The ActiveCampaign Connector retrieves the user list from the ActiveCampaign API. Using periodic polling for regular updates, it captures new users and new application associates to keep data accurate and up-to-date.

ActiveCampaign User: Provides an up-to-date list of ActiveCampaign users.

Prerequisites:

  • You must be an ActiveCampaign admin with API access.

Considerations:

  • Based on your organization’s size, the initial collection of data may take some time, up to an hour.

Configuring ActiveCampaign

  1. Log in to your ActiveCampaign account.
  2. In the left menu, click the ‘Settings’ icon, then click Developer.
  3. Under API Access, copy and save the URL and Key. You'll need these to complete the JumpCloud configuration.

Important:

For security reasons, you'll only see the URL and Key once. Save it in a secure location before closing the window.

Configuring JumpCloud

  1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal.
  2. Go to SECURITY MANAGEMENT > SaaS Management > Settings.
  3. Under SaaS Management Settings, click the Connectors tab, then click + Add Connector.
  1. Click the ActiveCampaign connector.
  2. Enter the following information:
    • The Connector name.
    • The API Key copied from ActiveCampaign.
    • For Base URL, enter the URL copied from ActiveCampaign.
  3. Click Connect and then Save Connector. You will now see ActiveCampaign in your list of Connectors.

Note:

If permissions are accidentally removed, or if the admin who configured left your organization, the connector will stop working and you will be prompted to Reconnect.

Required Permissions

  • This connector requires an API Key that grants read-only access to user and group data within your account. (This access is automatically granted when you use an Admin user's API Key.)

Uninstall/Remove

  • On the Connector’s detail page, click on Delete Connector and follow the prompts.
  • To revoke the permissions granted to JumpCloud, delete the API token in ActiveCampaign.
