JumpCloud Agent Release Notes for March 9, 2026

macOS

Fixes

  • Fixed a critical login failure on Intel-based Macs where the JumpCloud Login Window could fail to initialize.

Windows

Enhancements

  • Windows Update Agent (WUA) install errors are now surfaced in KB patch scan results, giving admins visibility into why specific patches failed to install.
  • Added localization support for Windows policies (GPO and MDM) so the agent correctly identifies valid Windows versions on non-English devices.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue that incorrectly logged users out when the JumpCloud Go access endpoint returned a benign 422 error.
  • Increased a JumpCloud Go timeout threshold to prevent unnecessary authentication failures on slower devices or degraded networks.
  • Fixed a bug where user authentication time was not extended on login due to a username case mismatch, causing users to be treated as if they hadn't recently authenticated.
