JumpCloud Agent Release Notes for March 23, 2026

New Agent release (version  2.101.1)

Note:
  • Agent releases are rolled out over the course of the week. You may not see these changes right away.

All OSes

Enhancements

  • Improved HTTP connection pooling and response handling for agent API traffic, which reduced connection churn and increased the efficiency of policy and command workflows under heavy load.

macOS

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where the agent could loop on Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) permissions and appear offline after an upgrade. This ensures stable connectivity and policy delivery without requiring a reinstallation.

Windows

Enhancements

  • Restricted device signals collection exclusively to environments where the feature is enabled, preventing unnecessary CPU usage and telemetry processing for environments that do not require it.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue during Windows login where TOTP MFA was incorrectly bypassed after a device reboot, despite being required by policy.
  • Resolved an issue where commands failed with an exec: not started error for large PowerShell or other scripts that neared the Windows command-line size limit. This ensures long automation and generated scripts execute reliably on endpoints.
