JumpCloud Agent Release Notes for February 17, 2026

New Agent release (version  2.90.0)

Note:
  • Agent releases are rolled out over the course of the week. You may not see these changes right away.

macOS

Fixes

  • Added a retry token refresh to reduce JumpCloud Go registration failures when Macs wake without a network connection. 
  • macOS bootstrap installation now accepts the updated jcc_ connect key format for MDM and silent enrollment.

Windows

Enhancements

  • Extends agent directive polling to support “install KB” (Knowledge Base) patch installation commands.

Fixes

  • Repeating commands now reuse cached downloaded files instead of redownloading from expired S3 URLs, fixing command execution failures.
  • Fixes Windows logon screen and local account password entry on the new Credential Provider when the “Do Not Display Last Username” policy is applied.
