Integrate with Coupa

Use JumpCloud SAML Single Sign On (SSO) to give your users convenient but secure access to all their web applications with a single set of credentials.

Read this article to learn how to integrate with Coupa.

  • A Coupa administrator account.
  • A DEV or PROD account and your Coupa domain.
  • A JumpCloud administrator account.

Important Considerations

  • Coupa’s preferred setup is SP-Init-SSO.
  • Coupa can also setup IdP-Init-SSO, IdP-Init-SSO would require IdP (JumpCloud) to send the  RelayState parameter along with SAML request.
    • One way to do this is add a QueryString to AssertionConsumerService in the xml …./sp/ACS.saml2?RelayState=https://<coupa-instance-domain-name>/sessions/saml_post. You can change the xml before creating connection.
  • When authorizing users for SSO, set “Single Sign-On ID”, this is same as NameID passed in SAML request to Coupa, please check how the NameID is provisioned.

  1. Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal.
  2. Go to USER AUTHENTICATION SSO Applications.
  3. Click + Add New Application.
  4. Type the name of the application in the Search field and select it.
