Product Designer, Growth
Location: Denver, CO

JumpCloud is looking for a talented Product Designer to join our Growth Engineering Team. This unique, cross-functional team is comprised of Marketing, Product, UX, and Engineering team members. JumpCloud gives companies freedom of choice with their IT solutions (without sacrificing security). Our users are IT professionals and the users they support. Our growth team’s mission is to provide an outstanding user experience for prospective customers so they find value with our product quickly and convert to paying customers.

What you’ll be doing:
As a designer for our Growth Engineering team, you’ll design in-product experiments to increase engagement with our freemium product, converting free users to paying customers, and drive upgrades to premium versions of the product. We work in a highly collaborative environment, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to jump in on user research, data analysis, user testing, ideating, and supporting other parts of the company when they have design needs. More specifically, you’ll:
  • Use our usage analytics, experiment results, your UX and design toolset to form hypotheses and experiment ideas
  • Validate designs and design assumptions with target users
  • Collaborate with the team to design effective experiments to test our hypotheses
  • Solve complex user experience problems
We’re looking for:
  • Great design chops - strong aesthetic, good sense for what design will work for our users and their context
  • Data-driven and experimentally-minded - open to having your assumptions challenged, to incorporating new insights, and to move quickly in service of fast learning and business results
  • Experience applying user research findings into your designs
  • Proficiency using tools, such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Invision to present designs
  • Strong visual and written communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • 3 + years experience working on complex web applications
Bonus points:
  • Experience in diving into user behavior metrics
  • Familiarity with A/B testing techniques
