About the Role:
As our first Strategic Program Manager, you'll lead and coordinate strategically important cross-department initiatives. You’ll be working directly with the Executive team and leaders across the business to effectively execute on our strategic objectives.
Our mission is clear. Our strategy is clear. Our goals are clear. We have amazing people. Our key challenge is to execute at a high level on large, strategic initiatives across multiple departments with many stakeholders while scaling our entire business. If you're up for this challenge, you'll help shape how we do program management the JumpCloud way.
What you will be doing:
Coordinating multiple projects, identifying and managing dependencies while at the same time managing scope, risk, and communications.
Facilitating cross-functional quarterly planning exercises.
Helping refine and prioritize future objectives that support JumpCloud Mission, Vision, and Strategy and then break those down into measurable components.
Tracking and reporting on progress and escalating issues that threaten success.
Leading retrospective meetings to learn from our efforts.
Creating repeatable, scalable frameworks for best-in-class cross-functional execution.
What we are looking for:
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Strong ability to lead and influence positive outcomes.
Someone who understands the difference between saying “no” and “later” and can effectively do both.
A track record of successfully coordinating multiple cross-departmental efforts that achieved meaningful business outcomes.
The ability to manage scope, risk, and uncertainty.
Strong negotiation skills.
Experience with techniques to align strategy and execution (e.g. Hoshin Kanri planning).
Sufficient knowledge of regulatory frameworks and controls that can help identify risks and issues and serve as liaison to other groups.
Someone who thrives in the pace and culture of a fast moving and rapidly growing SaaS business.
Where you’ll be working:
All our roles are remote in the U.S. unless otherwise specified. Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area. Once we reopen our offices you will have the opportunity to remain fully remote (in the U.S.), work from one of our office locations (CO only currently) or flex your time.
If you thrive working in a fast, SaaS-based environment and you are passionate about solving challenging technical problems, we look forward to hearing from you!
JumpCloud is an incredible place to share and grow your expertise! You’ll work with amazing talent across each department who are passionate about our mission. We’re out of the box thinkers, so your unique ideas and approaches for conceiving a product and/or feature will be welcome. You’ll have a voice in the organization as you work with a seasoned executive team, a supportive board and in a proven market that our customers are excited about.
