We’re excited to announce the launch of JumpCloud Directory-as-a-Service® certifications — the next step in our growing education hub, JumpCloud University™.
Now, you and your IT teams can take certification assessments to validate your knowledge of the cloud directory services platform. JumpCloud Core Certification is available now, and Advanced and Expert certifications will be released at a later date. We’ve always aimed to give administrators the tools they need to dive in and get the most out of the platform. This expansion of our offerings will give admins additional tools to optimize their use of JumpCloud’s Directory-as-a-Service and deepen their expertise.
Getting Your Certification
JumpCloud’s Core certification is available now. With each certification, we’ll recommend courses and experience levels that will best prepare you for the assessment, but you can take the assessment without completing the recommended JumpCloud University courses if you feel confident in your knowledge.
Once you’ve passed each assessment, you’ll earn certification badges to display on your social media profiles and share with your network.
Looking Forward: Future of JumpCloud Education
We’ll continue to expand our educational offerings through JumpCloud University, including adding certifications and new courses both for admins and DevOps engineers on internal teams and for managed service providers (MSPs).
JumpCloud University aligns with our vision of serving as a product-led company: We want you to be able to dive into the platform and experience it yourself. With a JumpCloud account, you can manage 10 users and 10 devices for free along with all premium functionality as well and follow along with courses for hands-on experience. Courses cover JumpCloud implementation — including the Build Your Own Directory course, which shows how to get up and running with JumpCloud from start to finish — as well as resource management. You can pick and choose which courses you want to complete and take them in any order, on your schedule.
