Directory-as-a-Service® is a powerful tool for managing cloud-based directory services in the modern office. We strive for simplicity and clarity in everything we do – yet it’s only natural for questions to arise. This blog lays out some of the resources available to you and shows how to get help with JumpCloud.
Of course, you can always use our contact page to reach out to us with questions directly, but you may be able to get the answers you need by taking advantage of one of the methods below.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
If you are new to JumpCloud, the best place to start finding answers is the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. The FAQ page can be accessed at the bottom of the JumpCloud homepage under Support. It is organized based on the following topics.
Each topic contains a list of the most common questions with links to straightforward answers. The FAQ can be the best place to start for new and prospective customers getting to know JumpCloud for the first time.
Knowledge Base (Support Page)
For JumpCloud Administrators, our Knowledge Base (KB) is your go-to resource for implementation and functionality. KB articles contain detailed instructions and screenshots for how to do just about anything in the JumpCloud console. Think of it like the do it yourself (DIY) guide to using JumpCloud.
The KB can be accessed at the bottom of our web page under the Support section, or with an internet search for JumpCloud Support. The KB can also be accessed from within the JumpCloud Administrator’s Console by clicking Support at the bottom of the navigation panel.
KB articles are organized based on the following topics. You can also search for specific keywords or articles with the search bar at the top of the page.
This series of videos offers demonstrations of JumpCloud in action. Watch the Quickstart video above for a quick primer on the foundations of our cloud directory or scroll through the tutorial video playlist to find a topic of interest to you. We also hold regular webinars on a broad range of topics in an open forum where you can ask members of our teams any questions you might have. You can also find our page on YouTube for free access to our whiteboard videos and other other helpful playlists designed to help you get the most out of the JumpCloud platform.
Our resources page is where you can gain access to more in-depth explanations regarding our product features and real life use cases from our customers. We have ebooks and webinars on a wide variety of topics that can be applied to many organizations.
Our team is committed to ensuring our customers are getting the most out of JumpCloud and are happy to assist with any product related questions or concerns – subject to eligibility. The Support Team is available from Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm MT. Support cases are initiated via email, and addressed in the order they are received. Simply reach out to us a email@example.com with a detailed description of the question or concern and any related reference materials.
Best Practices for Contacting Support

- Document where you are getting stuck.
- Take screenshots wherever possible.
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details.
We strive to provide detailed instructions for every feature available in JumpCloud, so knowing what you are trying to do and where you are getting stuck is a huge help. You are the support team’s eyes and ears on the problem, so the more information you can provide, the faster we can provide a resolution.
