Welcome to JumpCloud’s December Newsletter.
Enable Zero Trust Security with Conditional Access
Use JumpCloud’s new Conditional Access Policies to enable Zero Trust Security from the same directory platform you use to securely connect users to IT resources. Trust nothing, and always verify that users have the right roles, permissions, and security checks as they authenticate into IT resources. Apply conditional access policies to establish trust across identities, networks, and devices.
Reduce Lockouts and Maintain Security by Forcing Password Changes
JumpCloud’s Force Password Change feature allows you to force a password reset at login through the User Portal and Mac and Windows devices. Use it to keep credentials secure, optimize onboarding protocols, and meet compliance standards.
Create and Manage Google Workspace Groups through JumpCloud
Control Google Workspace (G Suite) user life cycles through the JumpCloud Admin Portal, including distribution groups and group membership. With this release, you can leverage JumpCloud User Groups not only to connect users to devices, networks, and applications but also to people. In turn, you can now manage nearly all Google Workspace user life cycle events without ever leaving JumpCloud.
Add Your Logo to the User Portal
Upload your organization’s logo to populate it in your employees’ User Portals — just like you can for automatic JumpCloud emails, like password expiration notices. This feature improves the end user experience by helping them recognize trusted communications and resources from their own IT organization.

- Group Inherited Attributes: When you add a new user to a group, that user will be granted any custom attributes you’ve configured for that group, such as department and roles. Assigning group attributes to a new user cuts down on initial setup, makes it easy to keep members of the group consistent, and lets you seamlessly manage user attributes once they’re set up, federating them into SAML-connected apps like AWS and others.
