Safeguard System Access with Windows MFA

Secure your Windows fleet with multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Windows, now available for all JumpCloud customers!

Our Windows MFA release completes JumpCloud’s platform-agnostic MFA for the core OSs you manage: Windows, Mac, and Linux. JumpCloud’s MFA for Microsoft Windows works for workstations and laptops (versions 8.0 and above), in addition to RDP-accessed Windows Servers (versions 2012 R2 and above).

Compromised user credentials are the number one attack vector that hackers use to gain access to your organization’s confidential data. Establishing an additional protection layer with MFA is one of the best — and easiest — methods for securing critical resources. Protecting your Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints with MFA comes standard with JumpCloud’s Free, Pro and Build Your Own Directory™ plans at no extra cost to your organization.

Check out the Knowledge Base article below to learn more about how you can leverage Windows MFA today.

See System Data with System Insights’ UI

JumpCloud’s premium feature System Insights has a brand new UI to let admins easily access data points for individual JumpCloud-managed Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. With System Insights enabled, the system panel in your Admin Portal displays an at-a-glance overview of information you can use to troubleshoot issues related to uptime, storage and memory availability, disk encryption, and hardware information.

In following releases, we’ll expand the panel interface to provide you with even more data in the Admin Portal on individual systems and across your entire fleet. Other data provided by System Insights — such as information about installed applications, browser extensions, and kernel information  — is available via the API or PowerShell module.

Expanding SAML Just-in-Time (JIT) User Provisioning

We’re expanding our native support for JIT user provisioning for SAML applications. The latest release of JIT-supported apps includes:

  • Workato
  • Sauce Labs
  • Sigma
  • Moxtra
  • Klue

Additionally, we created a new webpage where you can view all of the SAML connections available to you. The page is updated as new connectors release, and can be filtered to see which ones are JIT-supported. Click the button below to check it out.
JumpCloud is extending its support for JIT and SCIM user provisioning in upcoming releases. What apps would you like to see supported? Tell us in this survey.

Partner Spotlight: JumpCloud and Morro Data

JumpCloud is partnered with Morro Data, creators of CloudNAS, so JumpCloud admins who manage multiple offices with network attached storage can now leverage a hybrid solution.

This integrated solution allows JumpCloud users to access files at local speed while collaborating across office sites and time zones. You can learn more about the partnership in our press release, or watch a tutorial below to see the integration in action.

More Product News:

  • Provision Users in Active Directory from JumpCloud: Organizations using AD Sync can now create AD users through their JumpCloud Admin Portal. Learn more about creating AD users through JumpCloud here.
  • In-Portal Release Notes: As a reminder, you can see JumpCloud’s latest features when you click on the gift box icon in the top right corner of the Admin Console to expand the “What’s New” section.
